Had people on base and in scoring position, they helped with some errors but we didn’t take advantage. our bats were just non existent tonight. It was their night and they took advantage of our mistake had a favorable strike zone from the ump. CoachA is taking the 21 inning approach for the series. Mack pitched good enough to keep us in the game and we had the lead off runner on with no outs in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th but couldn’t get a hit. Reid had two fat pitches and they took advantage. Kerr had a tough night missing the cutoff twice costing us a couple runs as well. Edenfield gives up a simple past ball leading to another run. We can’t make those mistakes and beat a team them. It was the white flag when we brought in Dubois. They took advantage with the first batter with the bunt knowing she can’t field her position. In the end, tip your cap and on to tomorrow. Hopefully Kat shuts them down and we get to game three. Regardless of what happens, I wouldn’t trade this team for anything. They never quit.

Well put. One inning, I think the 3rd?, we had a runner on first with no outs. I believe it was Flaherty at the plate who took Ball 4, only for the ump to call it a strike. She ended up striking out and the next batter hit into a double play. Having two on with no outs would have made for an interesting inning, but it was not to be.

As the saying goes, "you make your own luck". We have to create our opportunities and take advantage of them. Hoping we can pull out a W tonight. This OK team is on the brink of a dynasty; might be one already. I get worried every time they come to the plate.

They have 5 All Americans, I’d say that’s a dynasty.
