Right now we are set to have somewhere between 88 and 90 scholarship players for our 2022 roster. The variance has to do with whether or not two of the projected players will wind up joining the team this summer in Destyn Hill and Antavious Woody. If they both join the roster then we'll need to lose five current guys to get down to 85. Just one of them makes it then we'll need to lose four guys. Neither of them make it then we "only" need to lose three current guys.
Here are the 90 guys that I have as of today ...
I'm going to guess that these will include DL TJ Davis, WR Jordan Young and one of the defensive backs. I also don't expect for both Hill and Woody to make it into FSU. As for the other needed attrition casualty ... I'm going to guess that it will be another one of the WRs. We've got 13 on scholarship now and having 11 is plenty.
Oh ... and if we want to add another transfer or two after the spring then we'd need to lose even more guys to attrition.
