Have y’all heard their version? It’s basically a straight cover of the song, and I have to say I like it.
Thoughts?

Good version. Try Dan Vasc on YouTube. Don't know anything about him, but it is a studio version, so better sound. They played it at their concert in Nashville last week, along with several other covers. It must be a thing, because the crowd went wild.

I like Louis CK's version...
That’s why (the fact it’s a straight cover) I don’t like it. [/MEDIA]
And then Toto turns around and covers Hash Pipe..What I like is the backstory behind their cover (and it’s the reason it went viral) with a young fan begging them for months and months to do it...and they then dropped a cover of Rossana week before doing Africa.
I have a confession though. Africa, is probably my most favorite song ever. The music, melody and voice all blend so perfectly for me. I can listen to it over and over.
You suckered me in with the Louis CK reference as I’m a fan but I have to say, those guys are SURPRISINGLY good. I even checked out some of their other stuff and they are quite talented.
I loved this version of their live “concert” at the Pie Pizzeria.
Louis CK nails the Simon & Garfunkel covers, but I think his cover of Rocket Man is his best. You suckered me in with the Louis CK reference as I’m a fan but I have to say, those guys are SURPRISINGLY good. I even checked out some of their other stuff and they are quite talented.

I really didn't like it when Toto sang it in 1982 so.....
Look at all those phones. What have we become? They killed it in Atlanta!
Drunk Dan...not so much

So annoying. And the constant talking. Just stay home. They're clearly not there to enjoy the show. But they want to be able to post a video on their social media sites to show everyone they were there.Look at all those phones. What have we become?
Not a fan. Like the original but this cover is an exact copy of it. Prefer that artist put their own spin on the classic like Disturbed did with "Sound of Silence."Have y’all heard their version? It’s basically a straight cover of the song, and I have to say I like it.

Definitely different vocals than the trac they released or the Kimmel version. In other words "fugazi"....They killed it in Atlanta!
