I'm out of ideas this year.

A new set of knives. I already gave her a car for our anniversary and a laptop for her birthday, so pressure is off for Christmas.

We're cruising the Panama Canal on February. That's our Christmas present to each other.

Yeah that’s what we’ve basically done since we got married. We agreed our presents to each other is our annual anniversary trip and then skip the present giving. It’s worked out perfectly fine. Probably because I get her gifts throughout the year and don’t worry about Christmas in particular.

My presence is the only present she needs.

We’re going to nyc for a few days, using the $ we got for being bumped from our flight home when we were there a few months ago. Will do something cool while there, as both a Christmas present to each othhher as well as in honor of our 30th anniversary, which is the day after Christmas.

Got him a lap top on black Friday and the dog a FSU leash. The dog will probably be more excited than the BF. :Face with Tears of Joy

That's a very solid Thanksgiving gift.

My guess is that he'll be classy and spring for a real Tiffany sterling silver thimble.

New iPad (pro, maybe?), some Bose earbuds for running, a new and improved Garmin watch thing, and some garments (“I got you this, for me”). :)

God you people are romantic!

I am getting her a trip to Atlanta to visit with her college friends for a week. Likely she'll go solo, but I may hear about "they have kids n we have kids, I wanna bring em" so her flight may turn into a long road trip where I work from Atl this summer.

And a robot vacuum. She already named it Rosie. Still looking for other little things.

I got her this little doll to open, but I'm taking her for a week with no kids to the Ritz Carlton on Maui in February.

I also got her two bottles of her favorite wine and a small Tiffany necklace.

The key is I have to be at that hotel for a conference, so really all it cost me was her air ticket!

Well done. Kapalua is my favorite resort. My uncle owned a condo (Ironwoods) there for many years. I absolutely loved going there. The golf is outstanding and the grilled ono is really good at the Bay Course Bar and Grill.

We are going very low key, but did get a few things including an antique Rio Grande blanket that a friend wanted to sell. She has wanted one for a while.

She got a new car last year, this year we got each other S8. The papa signed the wifey and me to his business accounts so the service is free.

I got socks.

I honestly have no idea. My daughter and I spend 1 day shopping together every Christmas and this year since I am traveling so late in the year we go on Saturday; thank goodness she has been researching stuff. Now I did swing by the outlet mall near my hotel and got a great deal on some Columbia and Under Armor stuff for me last night.

Bought her a overpriced deck chair for our dock from Palm Casual. Some other small items to open on Xmas day

That is not far off as far as the look, but the one I found was woven in the late 1800’s.
It is thin enough that she will be snuggly during the colder nights.
