I see us getting better each week. The offense has made HUGE strides at QB, Wr and Ol. We are so much better it is mind boggling now than Game 1. Honestly we scored one time and against BC .. the whole game. We just need to keep this kind of improvement each week (like OSU last year) and we can be a very very good by the time we play Clemson and UF.
We were not very good game one. We are pretty good now but we are no where near great. We have a lot of talent and really do not have any HUGE talent weaknesses that can not be over come. I think we have the potential to be great.
My keys (assuming not injuries) would be
1. Everett becoming lights out, Heisman level by the UF game.
2. At least one Wr's becomes absolutely dominate or simply all three become incredibly consistent. They run the right route, done whiff on blocks and catch the ball every time.
3. The OL becoming the dominate line I think they can be for Golson and Cook. I think at least 3 if not 4 of the OL could be nasty by the UF game. If Golson and Cook are playing well you do not want our OL to be playing well or we will gash you bad.
4. Defense - making big plays - the other team fumbles - they get it back. The other team throws the ball right to our DBs and they drop it. We blitz and get to the QB - nice clean shot and the QB breaks free and completes a pass or runs for a first down. That has got to stop .. we need to pressure other team and then make them pay with TFL and turn overs.
5. better .. improved DB coverage.
