...lays an egg against Bama?
I'm not saying it will happen, but it could. Patrick, Cam and Green will need to replace Cook in their first big game, against the best run defense around (more or less).
The Oline will need to protect Francois, something they didn't do very well last year. And Francois will need to get the passing game going without Kermit, Rudolf and Bobo, the 3 receivers who he relied on most last year to move the chains.
Obviously Noonie blew up at the end of the year, and Tate was emerging as well. Keith Gavin has tons of potential, but no experience. Through the season I expect the offense to get rolling at a very high level, and for the WRs to be much better than last years group.
But on this huge stage, against a great defense, in the first game...
It's not hard to imagine the offense struggling to get things going.
Over/under a 25% chance the offense lays an egg?
