What was or is your favorite board game?

Started young with Candyland and Chutes n Ladders then on to Sorry, Monopoly & Life, then to Pictionary, Scrabble & Trivial Pursuit.

The dad on that box is a good representation of how I typically ended up when playing Life - college educated, too many kids and wayyy too much debt. Median wage earner in a suburban hell. I mean, just look into his eyes. You can see it.
 
Haven't seen "Sudden Death" yet (from late 70's)), which is similar to Blockus now. Simple game that is good to play with your kids, but still enough of a challenge to play with another adult as well.
