Directv jacking up prices and not working with me on price, how is Hulu live overall and with sports?

I like it. I think others are good too. There are lots of sports. They have a trial so you can check it out. If you dont like it be sure to cancel before the end of the trial.
One more thing, make sure your device supports it. I have a smart TV that isn't supported.

It's great and easy to use. Just search for games or college football. You can save to your favorites if wanted. I have Hulu and Comcast/Xifinity and a <1 year old TV. $51 and change for a month or cancel before trail expires.

I have smart tv vizio has Hulu and Amazon already programmed in it. Have century link internet $54 a month. The sports is the most important part for me which is why I stayed with directv so long

ATT TV now, sling orange w/sports and high speed internet is cheaper than my comcast was and waaaaaaayyy better.

Dropped DirecTv this spring after 15 years, and went with Hulu live. Absolutely love it. No complaints. Took a little while getting used to the format after being DTv for so long, but it wasn’t a big deal. I have it on our Amazon Firestick and couldn’t be more happy with quality.

I don't know... comcast is giving everything out for very low now. Thanks to all the cord cutters. I pay 140 total with taxes. for a very upgraded internet for work and all channels expect for movie stations but Starz. So my cable is like 60ish. Just don't have accn yet... so I watch on free streaming networks like sportsurge

I have it, I like it. They’ve added a program guide for live TV formatted similar to Comcast that addresses the one issue I had originally. You will need a streaming device (Roku, Apple TV, etc) if you don’t have a smart TV and you’ll need to hook it to your TV with an HDMI cable. I get good results, an occasional reset at the change of shows, but continuous showing of what you’re watching. I have pretty decent internet speed, use the high speed Comcast option.

Has a lot of the Live Sports I watch and more (Doesn’t have the NFL, MLB, or NBA channels, but ACCN, BIG, SEC, PAC-12 networks, the ESPN channels, the Fox and FX Sports Channels, CBS Sports Channel, NBC Sports Channel, Olympic Sports Channel, has History Channel, which another Service didn’t, and that matters here, and it has the over the air networks so don’t need an antennae. It also has a good amount of its own content, ala Netflix, etc so that has value as well.

I love it. I made the switch from Comcast. I kept their internet, but got rid of cable. They seemed to keep driving up the prices. I live in Jacksonville Beach and I haven’t missed any games. I went with Hulu live over the others because they have all the local channels. I wanted to be able to see the college and nfl games that are on the local channels. One tv is a smart tv with Roku programmed in. The other I had to buy an amazon firestick.

The interface needs some work, but we really like it. Tired off having a $200 cable bill.

I have Century Link for internet and watch Hulu Live using Rocky. Lots of good programming and I love the free 50 hours of DVD recording in the cloud!

Thumbs up for Hulu live. Haven't missed a sports game I've been looking for since I switched. This includes FSU basketball and baseball.

It is about 5-7 seconds behind the live Gene Deckerhoff call though, so if you are muting the game and listening to him and don't want to know about the play before it happens, that can cause some consternation. These days, I am ok with knowing when to watch and when to look away. lol

Hulu is really good. We went with it since YouTubeTV jacked up their price. The only thing I don't like is not having a TV guide on the TV app. They have one if you watch on a computer/smart phone though.

YouTubeTV is the move.

It allows three concurrent streams and six user accounts.

What that means for you is that you can split their $50/mo subscription fee with three friends, netting each of you cable for around $17 each.

That may actually be service worth paying for as compared to whatever Comcast and Timewarner/spectrum/directtv have been ripping people off for over the last 3 decades.

Switched to Hulu a couple years back and love it. Wish it was cheaper, but it's still cheaper than cable. The only thing you have to make sure of is that you need to have strong internet service.

I have Hulu - switched from DirecTV. It's OK. It's much cheaper than DirecTV which is why I like it.

I switched to Hulu Live. Sounds like YouTube TV is good also, but Hulu had some networks my wife watches that YT didn't. I am loving the part where I save $100 month over Comcast and got rid of all the cable boxes and rental fees.

On Saturdays, the Hulu menu has a College Football menu with all of the games. I don't have to know which network or channel number - I just click on the game I want to see. Also, with streaming, it is easy to have a tablet or smart phone with a second to third game on.

While that works for some people, it doesn't work very well if you have a large family. If the two spouses each have a TV and the 4 kids have phones/tablets/tv you quickly get into issues.

Never heard of sportsurge. Just checked out the site. So you just go there and stream the game? Will one of the streams show the ACC network? Now most are just showing ESPN or ESPN2.

Switched and love it. My only caveat is to make sure you don't scimp on your internet speed. I purchased my own router for about $160 as the provider routers are usually crappy. The quality of you tv with a streaming service is all reliant on the quality of your internet.

I live in a rural area and the only option I have is satellite internet and those prices are ridiculous. So I don’t have any service at home, just cell phone. I’m sticking with Directv until something better comes along. I have the Xtra package for $88.04/month.

Switched from Dish. Was paying $144 for Dish as well as $115 for the fastest DSL internet they provide (80/20). Got Hulu with upgraded recording an unlimited screens for $55. Rarely have any spinning circles even though my son will game and my wife will be on here phone and I will be on the internet at the same time. This summer fiber comes and I will upgrade to 100/100 for the same price. Also do Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hallmark. Working well so far.

Since I cut the cord, I've never had trouble finding a game
