I had tickets to the Astros this afternoon, but gave them up because it's a washout around here, with 3-5 inches falling. The rain has put everyone in pooper mood (literally everyone in our house is in a different room), so here i am drafting a divorce decree and child custody agreement for a pro-bono case (read: family asked for help)

Not I.

Trying to stay busy around the house to help time go by faster, it’s not helping.

I understand that family can be a good thing and you are supposed to help out family, but from reading all your posts, I can't help but wonder if you are reconsidering that position.

We floated tubes down river and it was kinda like work putting on sun screen. Does that count?

I labored over the grill and beers tailgating. It appears I have much work left to do.

I feel a lot worse for those of you working the morning after. How do you drag yourself out of bed after that??

Didn't drink during the game. Went to bed at halftime. Woke up at 4:30. Easy as pie!
I was in bed by the fourth quarter. I feel especially sorry for those of you who went to the game and didn't get home until after midnight.
