Talked to Travis Rudolph on Thursday for the first time since he's gotten to campus. It's an interesting time for the receivers and for Rudolph in particular, who (along with Bobo Wilson) is the most productive player returning to a group that needs players to take it up a notch. He said he doesn't feel like the No. 1 receiver right now, but he's battling for the job.

Here's the story.

Jimbo said on Saturday that the group has responded well to the opportunity ahead of them and it looked like they had put the time in during the offseason. Rudolph and Bobo Wilson were on the field in 2-wide sets, and Ermon Lane was the third guy in when they went to formations with one RB and one TE.
