It looks like FSU is moving on from Herb Hand. So we are going to have to open up the offensive line board once again. Alique Terry comes from Hialeah High School. His father Alex Terry has been a high school coach in South Florida for over 20 years. He is someone that has quickly moved up the ranks. He was a quality control coach at Wake. He has coached the DL in the NFL for the Minnesota Vikings.

Why Terry? Oregon has given up 12 sacks this season. They are ranked #13th in the country at giving up sacks. He has one of the best lines in the Big 10. Terry has experience coaching at both the pro and college level. I like the fact that he has coached the DL. I like that he is able to recruit at a high level. He landed Ziyare Addison (Carrollwood Day) who was once considered a prospect FSU would land. He has landed Kodi Greene (5) OT- Kids 6'6-290 pounds. He can flat out recruit. He is very well respected in Florida. You are looking at someone that would be able to land not only prospects in Florida but nationwide.

Why Not Terry? There is no reason not take him. Terry checks all the boxes outside of coaching in the SEC/ACC. He is from South Florida. He has coached both in the NFL and College ranks. He has coached both the OL/DL. The only reason why not is because Terry would not be interested.

Final Thoughts: Terry is worth paying a lot of money for. You have to make him an offer he can't refuse. I have been told he would like to come back to Florida. Terry is someone that can flat out recruit and develop players. He is someone you would have to give a co-coordinator title and OL Coach to lure him away from Oregon. Terry next stop is most likely the NFL but you may as well try and pull him in. The odds are he will end up a head coach in the college ranks. If you can pull it off, Terry moves up that list real quickly.
