Sitting at the Harpoon and watching a lot of Noles pass by. Hope the weather clears up for tomorrow's game.

Hey there

I'm getting in tomorrow late morning. First stop will be Luke's Lobster for lunch and then let the drinking begin.

I'm working today so I won't get up there until 10 p.m. tonight. There's supposed to be a bar in my hotel so if it's worth a crap they'll stay open for me.

Some guy at the bar two hours ago - Fiji?

Ha! No, I have a few years, grey hairs and lbs on that kid. On my way home. Was supposed to go to NOLA this morning. But a very late WS game made me realize I really didn't need to wake up that early to fly out. Boston has cleaned up the T. Download the Tansit App makes it really easy to get around.

Does anyone need a ticket? A friend who was supposed to go had to make an unexpected trip to NYC. I'm at the Crown Plaza in Newton just off the Mass Turnpike. E-mail me at mwfudge at earthlink.net.

Nice night for a game. Too bad the team didn't show up. We hung out at Coda in Copley Square before heading to the game. Good food and drinks. It was a fun night despite the outcome.

It was too cold for that crapshow.

Was it just me, or did that announcer sound like Chief Quimby from the Simpsons?

Did anyone notice the band was mic'd and had their sound pumped through the PA? We have high school bands larger than that.

I've never seen a game with so many acknowledgements. Literally, during every time out, "We now direct your attention to the south end zone. Please stand and cheer for the 1976 intramural volleyball champions."

I do not disagree with any of your observations.

At The Friendly Toast in Back Bay recovering from last night. Thankfully, we checked in to the restaurant using the No Wait app. There are small groups waiting 2 hours for a table. Insane.

Apparently, it's parents' weekend at both Harvard and MIT, which explains the crowds, hotel prices and excessive number of nerds.

@sloth43, when is FSU going to recognize the B league basketball intramural championship?
