Good news .. can we practice yet? don't know but it is looking better ..

1. in the middle of march we were almost not testing at .. very little (just 8 weeks ago)

2. yesterday we administered almost 400,000 test in a day. for the first time the number of positive tests are under the 8%. The CDC goal was to administer enough test to keep the % under 8% and on the 7 day moving average we hit that for the first time yesterday .. you would think we have a shot at getting numbers below 5% by the end of May. Guys those are really good numbers if we are testing so many people that the positives are below 5%

conclusion
VERY VERY good news .. can we do better yes, can we start mass producing the antigen test - yes, get more remdesivir, Hydroxychloroquine and such out yes, more PPE yes but one of the biggest items we needed to get going again and fight COVID is TESTING. Guys we hit a milestone today.

I am hopeful with that much progress in 8 weeks we can make another monumental shift in our situation in another 6-8 weeks .. This seems to be the case if we look around ..
disney springs reopens May 20 and
disney world is excepting reservations and hoping to reopen July 1. Does this mean we can practice at a distance july 1 ...who knows..... but we are certainly heading in the right direction on things we need to do. If we can not test we can not practice .. looks like we have the testing down ..

By the way Florida tested 22,000 and hit 3.6 tested positive yesterday. 386 new cases .. .. again a good sign that we may be practicing this summer

What I am saying is we keep hearing that we need
1. COVID testing
2. PPE
3. antiviral medicine and
4. antigen testing

... most thought at one time COVID testing was the first step and the most important one we get out of the way. We seemed to have achieved this as of today
NEXT
Maybe we will be able to check off more items
3 .some form of decent antiviral medicine massed produced and fully approved and the
4. antigen testing down
over the next 6-8 weeks. That is all .. we bucket listed one item .. and that is good news

With deaths reported, is that number reporting date of death accurately? Because 45 people dying yesterday is very different than 45 people who have died over the past few weeks, now simply being reported.

The Governor today said that some spikes are attributable to nursing homes, hospitals or the like not reporting fatalities for a few days and then "catching up".
