Willie is supposed to meet with the media around 4 p.m. We'll have updates right here (and the live stream if it's available):

Willie's here and beginning. Says it was a "good day for the 'Noles."

Addressed some needs. Excited about the guys coming in.

Points out that signing day goes through Friday. I'm sure there will be more to come. Then have second period in February.

As for guys who haven't signed early, Willie says they understand some need time. It's a big decision. Don't get mad at them. Just keep recruiting him.

Not putting a number on how many still left to sign. Just focused on finishing class as well as can be.

On QB -- We're gonna get a QB that we all like and fans will be excited about. Says Florida State is gonna be fine.

Feel good about filling needs ... particularly at linebacker.

On the kids who committed late (Ray, Brownlee, Glenn) ... said they evaluated throughout the process. Timing worked well for them last weekend.

On recruiting south Florida ... talked about the connections they have on the staff down there.

Talking about the DB recruiting ... says you have to be very talented on the back end in college football with the way offenses are playing.

On Jay Williams and Maurice Smith, the offensive linemen ... both are very physical.

On this class ... got kids that wanted to be here. They're smart, tough, highly driven, competitive. They all share a lot of the same common values. I think this class is gonna have a tremendous impact on the program. Will help get culture where they want.

"Close" on an offensive coordinator. Will let everyone know soon. But wants to focus on recruits today.

On recruiting Raymond Woodie, recruited same as any other. But said it was unique since he's known him since he "was a little shorty." But also exciting to see him come this far.

On Kevon Glenn ... just because it happens quickly at the end, doesn't mean they weren't recruiting all along. Was just a matter of if they could offer, and they did.

On Malcolm Ray ... Willie said he went and watched their game against Southridge. He caught my eye in warmups.

On QB transfer market -- Says they'll get involved if it helps the team. Said the way that's going has changed so much. Only one QB can play at a time. You've got to stay ready because that market is always going.

Linebackers -- all can run, are tough and are smart. Looking forward to seeing them compete.

Confirmed that Francois is "weighing his options' after he recently graduated.

Dontae Lucas is officially in now. Willie says he's a "dude." Very likable guy. Players love him. Comes from a winning team.

On Walt Bell leaving ... says you always have that in the back of your mind. Knew Walt aspired to be a head coach one day. Always stay ready. I'm sure we'll find a very good offensive coordinator to get people excited about this offense again.

On some of these recruits like Dontae Lucas saying that they were excited about building program instead of joining one that's already rolling ... he said that shows they're recruiting the right guys.

More on the OC -- says he's in a better position now after one season to identify what the players and the program need. Getting the "right fit" is key.
