I was just bored and thinking of this today, Imagine how different we would be seen had we been jumped by say TCU or Baylor for the final playoff spot and we instead went unbeaten last year by beating a quality team in a bowl game. We would have this incredible winning streak still alive and many in the media would actually be crowing about how FSU got screwed over. The bad loss to Oregon gave the haters the ability to dismiss us because they want to.
I don't expect and never did expect this team to make this years playoff, this is a two loss team on paper that we need to support no matter what.
