Crazy morning in Louisville. Scheffler arrested on multiple charges heading into the golf course this morning. 2nd degree assault of a police officer, reckless driving, not taking instructions from a police officer.
It is going to be interesting to see if this was the act of an overzealous police officer, a misunderstanding on Scheffler's part because of the chaos (rain, traffic, etc. after another unrelated accident) or a mistake by Scheffler that he shouldn't have made. ESPN's Marty Smith apparently has been hired as part of Scheffler's damage control team in any case.
