Some days you don’t have the big home runs sometimes you face pitching that rarely makes mistakes! So….. what do you do? Got to small ball! Right now, OSU could literally have a defense full of paraplegics and be ok! Small ball puts pressure on defenses makes guys make plays. It GIVES YOU A CHANCE!! Lastly, our LF Chase Williams needs to be a PR only. He spends to much time going at it with fans. He is a liability defensively and his hitting mechanics are atrocious. If you’re going to leave him in he is the perfect candidate for small ball. I’m not saying you have to abandon what got you here but sometimes you have to do something different to get a fire going!
