I am not likely getting tickets, but my FIL is going to keep donating enough to pay for tickets going forward and offered them to me. It will still be his account (they won't transfer it) but I am the contact now. I know he wanted to help me, but I was really ready to be out of this.
That said, I got a text and info on seats. I don't want to do a presentation so just asked for info. Am I seeing this right that the initial 15k per seat for Zone 1 is 3k now? And the annual seat price has dropped from 4k to 2k a year? I may end up with seats anyway if so. But if this is correct, they greatly misjudged what folks would pay.
Here are the current numbers for the West Side.
Zone 1 820 out of 3400 sold
Zone 2 165 out of 2200 sold
Zone 3 51 out of 2300 sold
Those do not look promising. I was thinking maybe they just have not gotten that far into accounts and those will fill up fast, but the fact the pricing has already dropped so much suggests it's not just that. This may be a problem.
@Jerry Kutz What say you?
EDIT TO ADD- this has been cleared up. We were told numbers based on the physical location of our old seats. Those are now in the club. But other Zone 1 seats between the 30s are only 3k capital contribution and 2k per seat each year for tickets (includes booster donation).
Sorry for confusion. They’re just now getting commitments for zone 1. I think they’re getting to silver next? If you commit, it’s to a zone and NOT seats. Seat selection will be next spring by priority points (we’re 88 on total points so we’d have good options im sure). If you don’t like your seats, I don’t think you have to stick to pledge. But I’d check that.
