Remember Dalvin leading the way for Patrick & Francois on certain plays last year? I get the hunch we could see similar play calling with Akers, who I think would be better suited at lead blocking than Dalvin was.
Also, Patrick is plenty big and physical to do the same & be effective. It would be a nice element to be able to use either interchangeably- defenses can't focus on just one guy back there. Plus, since we've shown to do that with our all-time rusher being selfless enough, hopefully those 2 would be on board.
