Not sure anyone on this board hates cops.
To Jon's point, I've actually often posted about how we need to pay cops more, offer them more and better training and more comprehensive mental and emotional counseling resources. I'm not sure any cop would turn down any of those things.
Who I do not respect are cops that abuse their power and cops who refuse to police their own. Those folks have no business wearing a badge - and in fact are likely among those who ought to be wearing the cuffs.
