They were a late 80's early 90's rap group. I used to listen to them all the time back in the day but I just noticed something. Skip to around the 2:50 mark and look at the sweatshirt Grand Puba is wearing. Now this is a New York rap group.

They are from my home town, they have a lot of underground stuff that was never put on an album. They would have a tough time getting songs released these days based off of some of their lyrics.
