Best Colorado resort town in summer?

C'mon out! I'm 10 minutes from Boulder, 20 from Denver and I'll have breakfast for you each morning. I should start a little B & B with all this empty space and free time we have now.
You should - and I remember how beautiful it is where I think you're located - we've stayed in Boulder a few times because it was fun seeing all the people who were stuck in 1968! We headed out towards Golden on 93. Are y'all in that vicinity?

Been to Boulder and the Jon Benet house. Very spooky even from the street. Boulder would be a great place to retire too if you had the $$$. Between Denver and Estes Park. I think its called heaven!

Close. You went south from Boulder to Golden (where Coors and CO School of Mines are). I am in Louisville, due east of Boulder.

Had a little at the house but we did get caught out in it coming home from Palmer Park. Seeing it accumulated on roads and roofs like snow is wild.

I kept forgetting to ask, did you get hit by the most recent storms? The number of vehicles with front and rear blown out was amazing. I finally did get some peppering on my hood, but thinking I don't care enough to deal with Insurance and rate jacks, esp since they just put a new roof on my RV.

Looks like the area is up to $500 M in damages so far.

No we keep getting lucky. My husband was on Carson during the last storm, and somehow the big hail missed his truck. And at the house, the golf ball sized ones only messed up some plants and not our windows or roof.

I am headed back to Colorado either in March or over the summer. I had so much fun there during our trip a couple of months ago that I probably will go back in the summer. Love it during the summer.

A couple friends and I are looking to stay in one of the Colorado resort towns close to Denver for a few days this summer. Looking for a combination of great outdoorsy stuff as well as some cool bars/restaurants. I know all the names (Aspen, Breckenridge, Vail, Steamboat, etc) but haven’t been to any of them. Ideally something within a few hour drive of Denver. Thanks.
My fav would be Telluride but not close. Breck or Vail would be next choices. Not been to Aspen.

Frankly, I’d ditch Colorado and go to Lake Tahoe based on your OP. Unless you’re just going to stock up on your gummies....
