Since we all seem to be on the topic of boosters today. I wanted to bring up a point I’ve been stewing over for quite some time.
I remember seeing somewhere that FSU has the most spread out alumni base of almost any school. Average alumni is something like 4.5 hours from campus. Personally I’m 15 hours give or take.
I would say the bulk of the post game call in show seems to be folks between 7-12 hours sways.
Booster club’s entire perk system is designed for people that live in Tallahassee or very close by.
My solution is simple. And yes- it’s all about perks as that is what the masses care about. Create perks for people who live 5-20 hours away and largely cannot make it to campus often = more boosters.
