I know everyone hated fuller ,, got it!!!

but we did a good job on the off season improving the defense and
the staff (fuller shannon and coach John Papuchis ) did a really good job shutting down the ND OL NFL backs and running game
Wake forest
Fuller shannon and coach John Papuchis setting the game plan to stop the wake run will be huge. Most likely a win at wake depends on us (our coaches) stopping the wake running game. I like our offense and think they can bounce back if the WRs catch the ball but the game will be won or lost on our defense being disciplined mistake free and smart like we were against ND. We stayed in our lanes maintained gaps and played smart disciplined football for the most part against much better athletes many of which will play in the league. Can we stop Wakes running game .. an aweful lot depends on our DC with my guess is a 3 headed monster during the week (Fuller shannon and coach John Papuchis) except for game day which it is solely Fuller. I think we have a HUGE advantage (our DL vs wake OL) and the coaches need to figure out how to best use the advantage to cover our weakness at LB like they did against an incredibly more talented ND team.
I have absolutely no idea if our coaches can put together another solid plan and the player execute it. Defensive coaching will be huge for this game.
