Anybody try this?

I cut the cord a couple of weeks ago using a Roku. The streaming services offered Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and Sling. They are have strengths and weakness but no single service offers all the channels.

So DirectTV Now?

Vue is the best option currently.
I agree, and I've tried several of the live streaming services. Directv Now is probably the worst value, for me anyway. Currently they are the only one that doesn't have a DVR, which is a huge strike. They're supposed to add it at some point. I'd have to be in a pretty pricey tier to get the sports lineup I currently get with PS Vue's Core plan. Sling TV, PS Vue, YouTube TV, Hulu TV, DTV Now, FUBO all offer 5-7 day free trials. YouTube TV doesn't have an app for Roku, but I think all the others do.

Now that Vue has a guide on Roku it is the best by far. It was the best even before that with the DVR feature. None of these are perfect but this one wins right now. You can sign up for free week and no contracts make all of these worth a try.

I updated my Roku 3 last night to the new software to check out the guide. It's an improvement for sure. But I mainly watch PS Vue on a different tv that I have an Nvidia Shield TV attached to. I prefer the layout on the Shield app. Looks like Roku went with a vertical grid, whereas the Shield has the standard Vue look, which is horizontal. Also, while the video plays in the background, you don't actually see anything on the Roku, just hear the audio. I like that you still see the channel you're on while you're surfing the guide on the Shield.

I'm seriously starting to look at PS Vue. I have DirecTV right now, and the amount I pay is insane.

When I really look at the actual channels we watch and our kids watch, I can pretty much get all that with Vue's high end package. Living in Atlanta, they have all the locals except for NBC, and there is nothing I really watch live on there anyway. I can use an antenna to pick up if need be.

I also like the cloud DVR, which is a must in my house.

I need one of you guys to come to my house. You are speaking a foreign language I'm pretty sure.

We have Directv with Netflix and Amazon prime. I can barely manage that. Want my address???????
What kind of alcohol do you have around? That will determine whether your offer has merit.

I have directTV Now and like it well enough. My family “needs” Comedy Central and Nickelodeon, so Vue ended up not being an option when we cut the cord about a year ago.

The current lack of DVR is a little bothersome, but I can mostly make up for it with the on demand offerings or the channels’ stand alone apps. However, I signed up for DTV Now early, so I pay $35 for the package they are now charging $60 for. I’m also getting HBO for free. If I was paying full price I’d probably like it less.
