Does the new hire ( assuming it is not Odell himself obviously) need to have Odell retire?
From a management stand point, difficult to let the "office" favorite stay when they may be disgruntled by not getting job. ( I know this is counter to Odell, but so is him wanting the job)
Just curious what others think about Odell not getting the job and then being let go because new coach doesn't want the headache of having an FSU legend, 2x interim coach over his shoulder.
Personally I would hate it , but it is something the search committee, admin and new coach will have to consider.
I really wish there was better plan in place when they moved on WT, these are the kind of issues that arise out of poor planning.
