FSU sports information:

For the second consecutive week, Florida State forward Onyi Echegini was named the ACC Offensive Player of the Week as she shared the honors with Clemson's Renee Lyles. Echegini is the first-ever Seminole to win back-to-back ACC Player of the Week awards. This is the fourth time Echegini has won ACC Player of the Week in her career (10/24/23, 10/17/23, 11/1/22, 9/20/22).

Echegini continued to shine last week in wins over No. 18 Pitt and Duke that helped FSU clinch a share of the ACC Regular Season Championship. Against the Panthers, Echegini scored the game-winning goal in the 75th minute to give FSU a 3-2 win over Pitt. Echegini followed up that performance with her second brace in the three games as she scored two goals in five minutes in the 53rd minute and the 58th minute to give FSU a 3-0 lead. Echegini is now the ACC's leading goal-scorer with 11 goals this season and is the first Seminole to record back-to-back double-digit goal-scoring seasons since Deyna Castellanos in 2018-19.

Florida State will look to win the outright ACC Regular Season Championship on Thursday night as they take on NC State at 7 p.m. on ACCNX.
