The drop from #4 (PAC12) to #5 (ACC) is substantial accordin to ESPN data heading into the halfway point in the season. And that was after factoring in how poor the PAC-12 has played the past few weeks. Temple, Houston, and Memphis have AAC ahead of expectations and ranked #6 behind the ACC. Awful showing thus far in the year from the basketball conference known as the ACC. FSU and Clemson (like every season) are the only two worth anything this season. GA Tech (2-4) and UL (2-3) were expected to compete for the ACC at the beginning of Sept.
