A reminder to all: an FSU spokesperson has confirmed on the record that Bob Stoops is no longer a candidate for the FSU head coaching job.
This came way back on November 15. After the Tallahassee Democrat reported unnamed sources were saying Stoops was no longer a candidate, Rob Wilson of FSU confirmed that report to the Osceola that Bob Stoops was no longer a candidate. (Link to Tweet) Then, today DOT reported "A direct source within FSU told us this morning that "It isn't Bob"."
You all have a choice:
(1) Believe Rob Wilson, who has been at FSU for a long time and was even featured in the Bowden Dynasty documentary, plus DOT's report from today that Bob Stoops is no longer a candidate;
--OR--
(2) Believe the anonymous Nole128, freeman69, and mikedean420, who have excuse after excuse why Bob hasn't signed yet. I can't think of them all, but there has been funerals, XFL appearances, nieces quince's, parade's, etc. But still NO BOB.
After a head coach is announced and it is NOT Bob Stoops, do not whine and cry about FSU not saying anything or being quiet. You have been told, twice now.
