At every level, if you want FSU to play for a NC, Clemson needs to beat Miami. Why:
1. Currently FSU has wins over one team that should become bowl eligible-Miami. Louisville could get to 6 wins but will need to go 4-2 over remainder of season to do so. BC at 3-4 will be tough for them
2. If Miami wins, and FSU beats Clemson it could mean a re-match for the ACC. Not afraid of them but hate re-matches
3. FSU plays only 2 more teams that will go to bowls, Clemson and UF. NCSt might make it but since they played schools that do not count then getting 6 wins might be tough.
4. FSU needs the QUALITY WIN against a top 5 Clemson team and and decently rated UF team or the committee will look at others schedule
It is unfortunate, but it is reality is, for those who want FSU to get to final 4 Clemson needs to be a top 5 team when FSU beats them in Death Vally
