Another road loss to Pittsburgh on Saturday led to the Florida State men's basketball team falling from 17th to 19th when The Associated Press Top 25 was released Monday.
FSU (21-6, 9-5 Atlantic Coast Conference) had a bye week after its road loss at Notre Dame on Feb. 11. The Seminoles used the week to rest and work on other items prior to facing the Panthers.
The 80-66 loss to the Panthers is the second straight loss for the Seminoles and they're sixth on the road during the season. FSU, which is 5-6 away from the Tucker Center, hosts Boston College at 7 p.m. Monday and will then play two straight games on the road at Clemson and at Duke.
Gonzaga remained No. 1 followed by Villanova, Kansas, Arizona and UCLA for the rest of the Top 5.
Louisville is the highest-ranked ACC team at No. 7 with North Carolina in eighth.
Duke is 10th while Virginia is 18th. Notre Dame remained in the Top 25 for a consecutive week going from 25th to 21st.
