FSU sports information:

The Florida State women's basketball team (20-6, 10-4 ACC) will return home to host Pittsburgh (11-16, 3-11 ACC) on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.

The Seminoles lead the all-time series against the Panthers 11-0, only facing each other in ACC play. FSU welcomed Pitt to the league back in 2014 at the Petersen Events Center.

Florida State leads the nation in scoring at 90.8 points per game, with Ta'Niya Latson leading the country with 26.2 points per game, and Makayla Timpson tying for third nationally in blocks (81) and blocks per game (3.12).

The game will air on the ACC Network Extra and the Seminole Sport Network can be found on Seminoles.com and 96.5 The Spear. The game will serve as 'Scout Night', where fans who are dressed in their scouts uniforms can claim free admission at the ticket window.

The Last Time Out

The Seminoles defeated Miami (13-12, 3-11 ACC) on the road Sunday 83-82.

O'Mariah Gordon recorded a career-best 14 field goals, leading the Noles with 34 points and seven assists, while Timpson contributed 22 points, nine rebounds, three steals and a block. Timpson also sank the game-winning shot with just over three-seconds remaining.

Sydney Bowles also scored in double figures with 18 points, including four three-point shots.

Latson, Timpson, and Gordon have all recorded over 30 points in a single game, making it the first in program history.

Brooke has only said Latson is day to day with an injury.

(She has had a history of ankle issues but not sure if it's the ankle this time.)

Gordon got hit in the head in that Miami game on Sunday and had a big knot so I am assuming that’s why she is out. Looks like neither are on the bench (maybe sick?).
