Agreed. But the worst part about Whiskey Jax is when leaving, I get drawn into the SteinMart next door and end up purchasing a bunch of Chaps by Ralph Lauren when I meant to buy just plain old Ralph Lauren. Gets me every time.

Next time at Whiskey venture down to the other end of the complex to Tequilas for the best margaritas in Jax

Tequilas has good margaritas but Los Portales, both locations, have the best

Still remember the one in 2003 at the bar in Addison - 200+ going absolutely insane over Rix to PK Sam. Crazy!

Humperdinks!!!! Fairly certain that place isn't there any more.

It wasn't Humperdinks in the time frame she was referring to. It was a bar in Addison Circle.

The big Gator outpost in Dallas at that time was the Fox and Hound in Richardson. I made the mistake of walking in there hammered during the Rix to PK Sam game.

AMEN. Better Mexican food than most places in Jax too. We go there a lot.

The word "better" is key here. Mexican food in Jacksonville is almost 99% crap. My in-laws love that Casa Maria place by Baptist South but it feels like a dungeon in there.

I've never found a place here that can make a decent Chile Relleno

Really? The one is Hogtown has been open for several years. We (Nashville) got the first one outside of Texas in 2008-ish.

Chuys just opened in July/August. The one out here is good but not the same quality as back home.
