Gentlemen of the Locker Room, it's been 18 years!! **UPDATE**

This is huge for the greatest city in the south that some even refer to as the Paris of North America.

Now that is awesome. I lived in Jax for about 5 years or so, well Orange Park; while it is not a bad town and I am sure you jest that is funny. What is crazy is Jax is only what 80 miles or so from the Harvard of the south; the incredible value to humanity in that region is unfathomable. :)

C'mon Goldmom if Jax is the Paris of the South then Orange Park is like the Louvre to Jax's Paris and the Oxford to the Harvard of the south just a few beautiful miles drive away. :)

So you said screw the wedding then?

Negative. Wedding is Saturday evening. Getting crunk at the wedding and turning around and doing it all over Sunday!!

Bring on 2018!! It's not even here it's already a wonderful year!

Just my own opinion, but your life >> someone else's life. Better to go to the wedding, have fun, please your fiance, pillage the open bar, etc, than to spend one minute caring about the Jaguars - or any sports team - because I guarantee that they don't give a damn about you. I like sports, but I'm not going to ever choose some sporting event over things that I can do in my own life.
ND Russ, his picture belies his wisdom!

Since the Jacksonville Jaguars have hosted a home playoff game and my fiancée best friend is getting married next Saturday at 4:00pm.

Rumor in Jax is that kickoff will be Saturday at 4:15pm.

Rules man. Pictures of fiancé or bride.....or it did not happen.

Gentlemen!!!

GAME IS SUNDAY at 1:00PM!!!!

Tickets SECURED!

LOL that stadium is going to be about 30% Bills fans.

I saw they're opening up a few more seats today at 3pm, including standing room, at face value. Any idea what face value would be on some standing room tickets? Being five hours away, thinking hard about trying to pick up two and adding to the #BillsMafia, but probably not willing to pay what they're going to cost. Definitely not what they're going for on stubhub, where Bills fans have made it the most expensive playoff ticket.

30% Bills fans?? Great fanbase but you're crazy if you think that many Bills fans will be in the stadium. The stadium sold out before the opponent and day were announced. Then they removed the tarps and that to was sold out before the opponent and day of game was announced.

Jacksonville is psyched for this game. I did see standing room on stub hub earlier this week going for ~ $110. They were right above the bud zone I believe.

Section 234 here! Go Jags!

Never Forget!

30% will be an exaggeration, but I think you'll be surprised at the showing of Bills fans. Tons of those tickets that were part of that sellout went on the secondary market. We'll see how many...

$130 for standing room only tickets, was going to try and scoop up a couple but no way for that price. May drive over to tailgate and watch the game on TV in the parking lot.

Yeah, I was able to get in, but I passed too. Was a little disappointed, considering there have been seats in the $160-180 range on the secondary market today. I guess I was hoping (stupidly) to see a $75 ticket or something.

I might keep an eye out in case they drop Friday night.

Did you see this?

You're going to be sorely disappointed when there's maybe 10-15% Bills fans, especially since only a reported 20% of the secondary market tickets are being sold to addresses in New York. The Bills have got to be the most garbage team to ever make it to the NFL playoffs, their fans are wasting money to see them lose.

BillsMafia=Garbage. Time to Lockdown the Bank.

Looks like the typical graciousness of all the gate fans in Jacksonville has become the mindset of Jag fans too.

Yep.

I actually hate all that crap. That was always a hard partying fan base, but that whole set of shenanigans is moronic.

That said...I had half a mind to rent a truck, buy about 30 folding tables here in Atlanta, and drive them down and sell them for $100 a piece.

LOL. You do realize that 20% of the secondary market tickets coming from NY zip codes means that probably at least 45% of secondary market tickets are going to Bills fans overall, right? Buffalo expats are all over the southeast, and within actual driving distance. That 20% is what is going to fans that are willing to drive 25 hours or spend $1000 on airfare (although most is sold out). The Buffalo fans in Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas etc....believe me, I expect to hear them on TV.

Yep. One of my friends here in Nashvegas is a Buffalo guy. They bring a pretty strong contingent when the Bills are in town.
