Oh man, it was doozy.

Email thread going on between my counterparts; there are 5 of us. Im going to skip giving context to email thread, should spark a laugh for everyone without, even though it is even funnier when you know.

So I reply back to all: this is what I meant to reply with.

"I'm in, my crockpot drop offs aren't working as well as I hoped ;)"

What I actually said:

"I'm in, my cockpot drop offs are not working as well as I hoped ;)"

DOH!!!

This one didn't show up in red for some reason.

Good thing is we all had a prettt good laugh about it.

I've always had issues with it not working in here. It's typically spot on in outlook.

Now, I do mistakes at work, but until now it's never been on the level I make them in here.

Where I have to be rally careful at work is forgetting words all together. I'll for get to add "the" or "with", something like that.

If it's going to a client I'll walk away for a couple minutes, come back, and proof again. The goof up yesterday was clearly not proofed.

And amazingly enough only one person caught it, the others said they read and didn't even notice until the first person made a comment. I showed my wife and she didn't notice it either, had to point it out.

In an IM thankfully and not in an email and also not to the person I was referring to.

I misspelled Cynthia. The y was replaced with a u as they are right next to each other on the keyboard. That was not good even though it was an honest mistake. IT was not good at all.

Am I the only one that is still confused by what youre trying to say?

5 people in your office are emailing each other this?

"I'min, my crockpot drop offs aren't working as well as I hoped ;)"

my best voice recognition fail was the text I sent to the baseball mom that I had "sex club" and would give it to her rather than "zach's glove"

That's awesome.

Did you correct yourself, or did you let it sit waiting on her response?

I figured it would be the lose/loose variety...just like 95% of all other humans that can't seem to figure it out..

So, are you "rally" careful at work often? Lord man, you are very entertaining for me on a bad football day.

Good lord, how did the best post in the thread get overlooked? I'm sitting at Panera and just literally:

I was at a Mexican restaurant yesterday and a song called "Ya es muy tarde" was playing. My son asked what it meant and I told him "it is very late" or something close to that. So I asked Siri. Apparently my spanish is not as good as it should be. She said "Here's what I found for your (expletive) more tarded." Thankfully my kid didn't understand what Siri said.
