It's 90+ degrees near Washington D.C. with a brutal sun. It almost feels like Florida.
How about your town?
How about your town?
Brutal today!
But being a Florida native I know it’s coming
Usually it’s July, august and September though!
It’s summer.
We did get some showers today, so that’s good.
Can you go outside at Noon comfortably or is it hotter than Hell?
Same here in N. Texas and just the usual heat. Already had a 100* day and Summer starts tomorrow.
This heat is normal. Humidity has been a little higher than normal. Started up the sprinkler system yesterday. I think our rainy season is over.
94F here in New Hampshire...........pretty hot for this area. I went for an open water swim this morning with a friend in our town pond and it was already hot...............but it felt great. It's 90+ degrees near Washington D.C. with a brutal sun. It almost feels like Florida.

Last week I was in Oregon, and the highs were in the 60s. This week back in California, the highs have been in the low 70s. West coast doing west coast things.
I remember back in 2019 and staying at my folks house in Chico. It was 103. We left in the motorhome and went to Winchester Bay on the Oregon coast. I was in the mid 60's. As you went east, Oregon got hotter.Last week I was in Oregon, and the highs were in the 60s. This week back in California, the highs have been in the low 70s. West coast doing west coast things.
In other words, a normal late June day in NoTex.I have to go to the grocery store today.
It's going to be 99 degrees today.
Oy.
That sounds wonderful. We just snuck over 80 briefly.
Lmfao.100 degrees this weekend near Washington D.C. because of climate change.
Oy.
Can you blame heat wave on climate change? Eye-popping numbers suggest so.
The heat wave has killed at least 125 people and led to thousands of heat stroke cases in Mexico, where the heat was particularly intense.www.usatoday.com
I loved your post. cool. When we start driving EVs these summers will cool downWhat?

I think it will. How do you like your EV?I'm not sure that will ever happen, unfortunately.
I Would've bet the farm that you had an EV... why not? price?, style? performance?I don't own one.

So, it's hot in the summer not even record heat and it's because of climate change? Here's some cold water for your theory. Was it climate change in 88 too?100 degrees this weekend near Washington D.C. because of climate change.

Me too. It's called a cycle. When this one is over it will cool down again. The thing is with our 100 or so years of data we dont know how long of a cycle it is. But if we all switch to EV's maybe we can stop this now then cry about how cold it gets. If it gets too cold though we can warm the planet with all the lithium battery fires.I think it will. How do you like your EV?

It's interesting too that all the folks on here pushing EV use none of them have said they actually drive one.
They’re usually social cast off types. Remember the kids who ate by themselves in the cafeteria or with the other two who had nose rings? Yeah, them.Speaking of climate change get a load of these idiots.
Currently 66 Degrees here in New Hampshire. Unfortunately, it is off and on rain. 🤷♀️🤷♂️ Went for a swim this morning in our local pond. Was 60 degrees at 7:30AMThe mountain lakes really are wonderful. They have been my weekend vacation spots for years, and I have seriously considered building a cabin up there. I just can not make up my mind regarding which lake. We go to Lake Tahoe a couple of times per year for weddings/work, and it's always lovely. I tend to prefer the smaller lakes, though. In August, we are going to spend a weekend up near Clear Lake.
