Worse than that 4th down call by Norvell. I get that he and the players have to “control the response” but he can’t expect the crowd to do the same. He might as well have stopped the game and finished it in Raleigh. I can’t say I’ve ever seen a coach give away home field advantage and that much momentum with a single play call.

I get it if a player fumbles. I understand if there’s a blown coverage. Momentum sometimes gets you the wrong way but I’ve never seen a home field coach essentially shush his own crowd.
