It maybe a reach to all of the keyboard GMs on here, but they more than likely had Fowler higher on their board, and he fits the scheme better.

The jags will still suck unfortunately. Hopefully Rashad can at least put up some good stats and get traded or go to a good team as a free agent in a few years.
I can't decide who I'm most excited for- the Jags for being smart enough to get such a steal, or Rashad, who will get to stay in the state or Jax Noles who are excited to have a Nole added to the team. Welcome Rashad!!!
Love having Telvin & Rashad in my hometown! Both guys are professionals at what they do and great to have in the locker room and City of Jacksonville.

His size, speed, and motor is exactly what Gus needs in a LEO. He didn't play as a pure LEO because UF needed a constant pass threat, and couldn't get it from anyone else. The entire Gator defense depended on his play, and much if their success should be contributed to him.

He's not a "pass rushing specialist." He can play the run as a DE or OLB (will do it as both).
He assists on a ton of tackles (because he chases stuff down). I don't like him w/the Jags though (in large part because I don't think he's what Telvin needs to get that D where it needs to be... and last season Telvin showed he's someone you can build an elite NFL defense around).
If Mario Edwards can play/stay in the 270-290 range, I think he's a better player than Fowler. I loved Fowler as a HS prospect... I really did. I wanted him here & was pissed when he jumped ship. I really dislike him (though beating him twice kind of made him irrelevant)... but he's more than a pass rushing specialist. To pigeonhole him like that is ridiculous.
Beasley is exactly what the Falcons needed... and I hate it for the Bucs/Jameis.
