Jimmy Mac Shark Hunter the series cancelled midseason

As long as that $40 million buyout is in place, Jimbo has all of the leverage and can do whatever he wants and there's nothing the administration, boosters or fans can do about it.

If Jimbo decides he can "fix" the problem without any personnel changes, things could get really ugly, both on and off the field.

It would be virtually impossible for things to get uglier on the field than they are currently.

They can't fire him, but they can lean on him, and his staff. I don't think that will be a problem though. He and Jimbo are tight, his hiring was a requirement for Jimbo to come on board, but even Jimbo sees that its become a serious fan problem at this point. It's the same with Kelly. I don't think he is terrible, but few have done less with more then he.

Probably should add new contract negotiators to the list as well.

In the NFL, for instance, it's extremely difficult to convert third and long because defenses bring enough pressure to force qb's to get rid of the ball too quickly to allow for deeper routes to develop...But CK doesn't seem to blitz much in those situations.

This. He never brings pressure on 3rd and long. Couple that with the fact that none of the DB's seem to ever consider getting their head around and looking for the ball, instead opting for playing the receiver's body and drawing a PI, and you get the result we are living with. Since he is the DB coach too, I lay double blame at his feet.

Friday night, right in front of me, #4 finally looked back for the ball and what do you know? A pick. Amazing.

But it was something like 4th and 4. We didn't want him to get an INT 30yds down field. Luckily it was ruled not a catch after review. He lacks situational awareness.

True. I was just commenting on fundamentals, not the game situation, but you are 100% correct of course. Same player seems completely lost in the punt return game, and neither the coaches, nor his teammates seem to be making any attempt to wake him up.

Interestingly he is 22-12, won SEC East his first two years.
Sure, they are 3-4 this year but barely lost to Texas A&M and LSU and could be 5-2.
Georgia is really good this year. Michigan was their toughest opening game since 1693.

I can only conclude......

......that was him with the shark.
Even more interesting is he and Jimbo have a similar record over the last 3 years.

The difference being Jimbo’s two 10-3 records were against stiffer competition than Jimmy Mac’s 10-4 and 9-4 records. Plus there’s the whole FSU outscoring Florida head to head 58-17.
