Jaylan Gainey has scored 3.2 points and pulled down 3.2 rebounds in his first five games for FSU.

Winthrop is coached by Mark Prosser, the son of former Wake coach Skip Prosser. This is Prosser's third season at Winthrop.

FSU leads the series with Winthrop 2-0, but the last game was during the 2018-19 season.
