Florida State (8-3) wraps up non-conference play with a home game against Winthrop on Tuesday at 7 p.m. The game will stream live on ACC Network Extra.

Jamir Watkins and Malique Ewin have scored in double figures in eight straight games. Watkins averages 18.9 points, while Ewin averages 14.6 points.

One of the early storylines tonight will be how many Seminoles are still impacted by cold/flu that has been going around. The Seminoles played without Taylor Bol Bowen, Chandler Jackson, Bostyn Holt and Alier Maluk in the win over Tulane. Jerry Deng had 13 points to support Watkins, who had 29 points, in the 77-64 win.

Watkins had been struggling from the free-throw line but is 35 of 40 (87.5 percent) in his last few games.

The Seminoles lead the ACC in a number of defensive categories, including 3-point FG defense (26.7). FSU also leads the ACC in blocks (5.0 per game) as well as steals (9.7).

FSU is 3-0 all-time against Winthrop. The Eagles are coached by Mark Prosser, the son of a longtime Wake Forest coach, Skip Prosser.

Winthrop is 9-3 and doesn't have a notable win yet. The Eagles lost at Virginia Tech by 6 on Nov. 11.
