In my opinion, based on that body of work, UGA is a good team, but far from great. I see them as a little worse than UF, or Clemson and a little better than Virginia tech. Maybe on par with Duke type caliber. It’s splitting hairs here, but where I’m going is, FSU should be able to make it to Omaha if they don’t beat themselves. Myself, I thought South Carolina was a harder draw than UGA will be as South Carolina really peaked at the end of the season and their pitching was top notch.
Anything can happen in sports, but I like our chances. I have a feeling the offense will come alive, not just hitting, but getting on base, small ball, the total offense.
