For all of those who defend the ultra private control freak ways of some college coaches keep this in mind: every NFL team allows not just media, but fans to come to practice for essentially the entirety of fall camp. Not just warm ups and flex period but the whole dang practice. Explain to me why basic position drills done in the early weeks of practice or the warmup portions of the gameweek practices in any way shape or form would be detrimental to our performance on Saturday. I would love to know. If you think Bama is going to change their entire game plan based on Warchant saying Brian Burns looks great I don't know what to tell you. No one is advocating media access when the team is working on specifics for an upcoming game but Jimbo and the media relations people at FSU are getting out of hand. As long as we win this won't matter but if Jimbo has another 9-3 season the media won't spare him their wrath and rightfully so.
