As I have mentioned before, the real power brokers of conference realignment are the media companies. ESPN and FOX have now engaged in some major negotiations over the B1G/Alliance deal that has spilled over into other areas including conference realignment. The future of the ACC and PAC, B1G, the Texas/OU exit are all on the table for each media company to horse trade over to get what they want. Even broadcasting talent is being negotiated and traded now. Below is just an example.
