Need some new dress shoes for new job

and the other great thing about them is they don't LOOK like comfortable shoes. I like Rockports, but they tend to give off a door-to-door salesman vibe with the way they look.

Agreed about Ecco and Rockports tend to wear out pretty quickly. I bought a pair of those once and they lasted about 6 months.

I usually stick to Ecco, Bostonian, Johnston & Murphy or Cole Haan.

I normally buy something much less expensive (Steve Madden, Kenneth Cole, etc.) for between $35-$50 from Lord & Taylor. They last about a year and then I throw them in the garbage and buy new ones. I wear dress shoes every day for work.
