When is the last time the Chargers were relevant in the NFL? Derwin just got shuffled off to no-man's land. He'll be wealthy, but that's about it.
And they don't have as far to go as the Jags did.Same thing could be said about Jacksonville. They got things turned around.
The same way...Great young defense.Same thing could be said about Jacksonville. They got things turned around.
Maybe you're right about SD getting better, but Philip Rivers is aging out and his backups have collectively thrown for more interceptions than touchdowns in the NFL. A great defense is obviously a wonderful thing, but at some point you've got to score some points.

Or Los AngelesGood news for them that division is wide open. Good news for Derwin is that he gets to live in San Diego.
Or Los Angeles
The smartest teams are patient and let the draft come to them. The Chargers' D will be ridiculous this season.
...but not the taxes.Damn. Well he'll probably enjoy the LA scene.
Woah. Flaco's days are coming to an end.
I feel like that first sentence answers the third - and good for him!Currently the highest paid QB in the league. 10 million more per season than Brady. What has he done since 2012 Super Bowl?
Would gladly pay those taxes if it meant I got to live as a wealthy single professional in Los Angeles....but not the taxes.

One has to be wealthy to afford the taxes apparently:

Saw a 2nd-day mock which has Mason Rudolph going to the Chargers tonight. That would be pretty cool.I lived in downtown SF right after college.
Had a good job but nothing amazing. I was able to live comfortably in a luxury building, save, travel, and afford taxes. So were all my friends. So you don't have to be wealthy to afford the taxes.
In any event, this is a thread about the NFL draft and our boy Derwin will be just fine living that Cali life with his many millions. His vibrant personality will fit great in LA. Looking forward to watching him become a star!
How long ago was that? What were the city, county, and state taxes like back then compared to today? It seems like they might be a lot higher now than they used to be.I lived in downtown SF right after college.

The rate in my tax bracket from when I lived there (2005) to today (2018) has not changed a bit.How long ago was that? What were the city, county, and state taxes like back then compared to today? It seems like they might be a lot higher now than they used to be.
I would agree except that I still want to see more help for Jameis. Tate or a Marcell Ateman would give him another big target. We all know JW tends to miss high when he's inaccurate. If Sweat is still there when the Bucs pick comes in the 4th, they should snag him. His injury history is a huge negative, but he has the potential to be great. Anyone else they draft there likely will never be anything more than a career backup.

Accountability partners??Browns draft Antonio Callaway. Isn't dealing with Josh Gordon enough??
