While I don't disagree with this lawsuit, hopefully he sued the hospital that released the records to Schefter in the first place as well. Huge violation.

I would say the hospital or certain personnel are in way more hot water and violation potential. HIPAA is not to be trifled with: a single violation a terminable offense at most health care facilities.
