Report Says Sapp Failed 7 Drug Tests

NEW YORK — Hurricanes defensive tackle Warren Sapp, who was expected to be one of the top 10 picks in today's NFL draft, faces a far more uncertain future after Friday's disclosure by the league that he failed seven drug tests while at the University of Miami, including one for cocaine.

The six other positive tests were for marijuana, four team sources told Newsday. The league Friday night sent written notification to teams about the positive tests, and that is likely to have a significant impact on where Sapp is drafted.

This happened in Maryland a while back to the mayor of a small town. That turned out differently. A police SWAT team raided his house and shot his dog. I think the police in the Amazon case handled things a little better.
