So apparently there was a suspected gang-related shooting at a nightclub in Ashburn, Ga., where Terry is from, three years ago. And last week, Terry and 10 others were indicted in the case. The charge is felony murder.
Here's an article from the incident at the time. A young lady was killed in the shooting.
Don't know why it would take three years to get the indictments, but this obviously would appear to be the reason why the Seahawks released him yesterday. Based on a post he made on Twitter yesterday, it looks like he may not be in custody. Not sure how that works.
Anyway, here's hoping it's a misunderstanding and that he wasn't really involved. But just wanted to let you know what we know.
