Orlando City Soccer

Guess you didn't watch it to the end, then. What a finish, down a man to get the draw at the death.

Huge crowd as well; loud and raucous.

Hope it'll be like this in Atlanta in a couple more years.

I have a couple of friends that are way into them. Travels to away games. Always painting banners, etc. Tailgated out there all day today.

Crowd was great and I am glad to see such a successful debut for Orlando, I hope they have continued success down there. Announced sellout crowd of over 62K!

Caught the second half-- enjoyed it.

The atmosphere (tailgating, fan involvement, etc.) when soccer is done right most resembles college football. The MLS is getting some really decent stadium environments. KC, Seattle, LA, Portland, all come to mind.

I played a little in high school but still consider myself a new comer to the game (2006 WC sold me) but I'll say it's tied with college football in terms of my sports passion list now.

76 minutes of no scoring -- hell, barely any shots on goal -- followed by 2 scores in the final 14 minutes for a 1-1 tie. I understand why some would find the finish exciting, but, overall, far from pyrotechnic, at least to me.

Great crowd and a great party, I am sure, for the opening game. Will be interesting to monitor attendance as the temperatures climb.

Just read they will be capping the attendance at 20k for the next few games. That could change based on demand but this is what OCSC is/was planning to do....

That was a great game for a first game. Orlando has a ton of work to do on defense, Collin needs to play far more in control, and the offense needs to stop the flopping and offsides. Overall there's a ton of potential though. It was overall a very fun game to watch however.
